I’m the only candidate that has first hand experience in all
levels of the GISD. As a student, I attended GISD schools and
graduated from South Garland High School. As a parent, my kids
attended GISD schools. As a booster, I have been active in the
sports and after hour’s programs. As a concerned and involved

familiar with how they work. As a result of my years of involvement
I know all of the other trustees, the Superintendent Culwell and
many other GISD faculty, staff and administrators. In addition I
have been in many of the GISD schools, I have been in all of the
GISD athletic facilities and I have been in all of the GISD
neighborhoods. I have first hand knowledge of the differences and
commonalities of the various GISD communities. In short I have the
background and experience to immediately be effective as a GISD
