Community Involvement

Stephen Stanley strongly believes that community service is an important part of living in Sachse.  He has demonstrated dedication and commitment to making Sachse a great place to live by being involved in service to the city, community clubs, Chamber of Commerce  and our education system.

  • Actively participated with the Sachse Sports Association 1995-2001, Co-Sponsor (1998), Sponsor (2001) Girls Softball Teams

  • Board of Directors of the Naaman Forest Football Booster Club 1998-2000

  • Parks & Recreation Board member appointed 1997 thru 1998.

  • Served two consecutive terms on the Sachse City Council Place 5 since first elected May of 1998 through 2004.

  • City Council Liaison to the Parks & Recreation Board 5/1998 thru 5/2001

  • Sachse City Council Liaison to the Garland ISD School Board  5/2001 - 5/2004

  • Sachse Chamber of Commerce Member since 6/1999             Serving on Several Committee and Chair Positions

  • Co-Recipient of the Sachse Chamber of Commerce “Spirit of Sachse Award” 2003

  • Sachse Chamber of Commerce Director 5/2003 - Present.

  • Sachse Youth Community Center Board of Directors 3/1998, President 1999 – Present.

  • Charter Member of the Sachse/Wylie Toastmasters

  • Hudson Middle School Campus Improvement Team 2000-2002

  • Charter Member of the Sachse High School PTSA 2002

  • Sachse High School PTSA Exec Board/Parliamentarian 2002-2003 - President 2003 - 2004 & 2004-2005

  • Sachse High School Class of 2005 Booster Club Member. 2002 to present

  • Sachse High School Girls Athletics Booster Club Member. 2002 to present

  • Sachse High School Campus Improvement Team 2002 -present

  • Founding member and currently the VP of the Republican Club of Sachse

  • Rotary Club of Wylie Member 2004,2005
